I met this couple on a REALLY cold day this December. It was during a two week time period of constant rain, but we were working with a certain number of days when they were both in town to get it in. So we went with it.
They were such a delight to photograph. They were affectionate, laughing, and having a good time even with the frigid temperatures. It's so much fun to work with couples who are just happy to be together no matter the circumstances. Gotta love, Love!!
I had the chance to do a photoshoot for Joey and Marcie for their 10 Year anniversary. Luckily they got married in the fall so it is a perfect time to record their love story. Everyone gets their pictures done on their wedding day, but that is only the beginning! What about the years to come. It's great to document the full Love story. The Happily Ever After comes after the honeymoon phase, years down the road. When you look at your spouse and still have those feelings of love and still make each other laugh. Joey and Marcie are a prime example that love can grow stronger as the years go by if you nurture your relationship! And just maybe, on occasion, feed your love with beer, wings, and baseball! Happy Anniversary!
This couple. . . so sweet. The best thing about this session was how they laughed the whole time. I have no idea what he was saying because he was talking just to her, but it worked! They were great and hung out to see what kind of sunset we got. They are getting married next April!
They will live a long life together full of laughter. And that is a wonderful thing.
Last Saturday I spent the afternoon with this wonderful couple. They were fun to shoot and went along with whatever I came up with, a photographers dream. We started at the Butterfly exhibit at Center in the Square and then went up to the Hotel Roanoke. We even got the dogs in on it, what a beautiful family!! I am really looking forward to their wedding in May!!
