Jamie - Rustburg High - Downtown Lynchburg VA Urban Senior Session

Jamie is such a delight to be around.  Very talkative and relaxed, I enjoyed walking around downtown Lynchburg with her and her Mom.  She wants to be a photojournalist and hopes to study at UVA.  She also loves dogs so we have a lot in common!

She wanted to shoot downtown and I try my best not to shoot at the same places all the time.  I really like for my seniors to get unique images.  So we went to an area I haven't shot at yet.  Galaxie Modern was nice enough to let us pop in a shoot a few in their window and on one of their couches, which was perfect for her books.  Then we walked around that part of town.

Thank you Jamie for choosing me to shoot your senior portraits!  I can't wait to see the images you produce in your career!

Alyssa - Jefferson Forest High - Virginia Senior Photographer

I met Alyssa at Sweet Briar College to shoot her senior portraits.  We had a nice warm October evening!  I worked with her brother Shane last year for his senior portraits so I was happy that her Mom called again this year for Alyssa.

The sun on Alyssa's hair was so beautiful!  We had a lot of beautiful backlight.  Here pink dress in front of the green barn was perfection!  She really pops off the scene.  Her boyfriend and friend came along for the session and they were fun to have around for the evening.

Alyssa is graduating a year early, which is awesome!  Good luck Alyssa with whatever you choose to pursue after high school!  I know you will do great.

Isaiah Baseball - RHS - Senior sports portrait Photographer

I know it seems that Baseball season is a long ways off, but just blink and it will be starting.  Isaiah plays outfield for Rustburg.  We met over the summer and got in his Baseball portraits while the fields were still looking good after the season was over.

I enjoyed working with Isaiah!  I've know his family for a long time and I am happy that they asked me to capture his senior portraits!  He is a very nice, polite young man.  Good luck in your upcoming senior baseball season!  Enjoy every bit of it, because it will be something you will look back on for years to come!

Isaiah - Rustburg High - Virginia Senior Photographer

I met Isaiah and his family on their family farm.  It is a place I am familiar with as I spend part of my childhood playing there.  It was nice to go back and see!  We also rode up to one of the most beautiful spots in the county.  It's land that is owned by a close friend of his family.  We even include his dog, who posed like a champ!  His truck was so awesome!  It's  nice to shoot an older model truck that is teal!  it's in great shape and the headlights have been updated so it is a good combination of old and new!

Isaiah is also one of my senior reps for the Class of 2017!  Thank you for choosing me to photograph your senior portraits! Good luck in whatever you decide to pursue after high school.

Editorial Photography for Johns Hopkins Medicine - Norah - Alison Creasy Photography

Over the summer I was contact by Johns Hopkins Medicine and hired to get some pictures for an article they were doing for a local girl.  Norah was very sick girl in a lot of pain and their hospital helped her get better and back on her feet.  They asked for some pictures of her, with her family and doing a few things she likes to so.  She likes to make slime and ride her bike so that's what I went with.  She is such a bright and happy girl, it's hard to think about her going through all that she has.   I am glad her happiness still shines bright!  While we were there I grabbed a shot of her siblings as well.

I recently got the magazine and it is awesome seeing my work in print.  I'd love to do more editorial work.
