I met Crawford at Hat Creek Golf Course in Brookneal so we would be able to get in some golf shots during his senior portrait session. I liked working there. On one hole there were these rocks that were great to shoot in front of. This was my first time shooting a golfer and I am happy with what we got!
I love the sunset we got during the golf shots! I always appreciate a good sunset during a photoshoot, because I don't always get one.

Alright, this post will get me all caught up for my sports sessions. The Rustburg High School Girls Soccer Seniors asked me to photograph them and do their schedules. They were up for doing something different with one of their poses and it turned out great! I really like how their schedules turned out too! We were supposed to shoot on the soccer field but there was a track meet at the time and I am glad there was. Despite the high velocity winds we had going on the location of the sun behind them was for the best. It provided some awesome backlighting.
I had the chance to make the Rustburg Softball schedules for this year. We had to shoot in the afternoon with the sun high and bright, but we made it work. The colors came out vibrant and sharp. With the bright blue sky and their red uniforms it looks patriotic!! Good luck ladies!!!
Some may be wondering why the baseball team had more images. It's because with these sessions I only shoot what they want to order. The softball team just wanted a set of the schedules so I shot those two images for the schedules and that is it. I think they look sharp! Hope they enjoyed having these this season!
I am a little behind on blogging my recent Senior sports team shoots. I am going to try to catch that up. Recently I had the chance to photograph the Rustburg High School Baseball Seniors. We met on a cloudy afternoon which was to our benefit. No sun to compete against and we were able use the lights. Looks like they are having a great season so far.
